Two Beautiful Murals

This one is made by Karski & Beyond.  Modern story-tellers..
The painting shows rapper IceCube and his son.
I know nothing about rappers, never heard of IceCube, but I'm interested in Street Art and this painting is one of the best I've seen. Place: NDSM-terrein, Amsterdam.

Karski & Beyond also made this one, right in the city centre of Amsterdam, Binnengasthuisstraat. Representing Rembrandt and a Dutch artist, named Herman Brood. So what about the idea of putting those totally different artists together? Or maybe not so different?

  7. Both murals are very cool. In each pair there is one I know and one I don't know. I know Rembrandt, of course, and Ice Cube but not the son or Brood so I'll go look them up now.

  8. Ik vind het knap hoor! Herman Brood lijkt levensecht, van Rembrandt weet ik dat niet ;-)

  9. Hey guys, thanks for sharing these stunning murals. For the record. This is not Ice Cube and his son. This is actually a double exposure of Ice Cube the man himself. Karski and Beyond have been experimenting with double exposures for some time. They also did a great one of Christopher Walken. Also on the NDSM wharf in Amsterdam. Google it if you like street art / graffiti. It is also very nice.
