Yesterday, we took a walk in Amsterdam. We knew there was a new mural, so sundaymorning, 08.15, we were there to see it.
And I think it's very special.
The paint is special : 'Airlite is a 100% green product, eco-sustainable and with a very low environmental impact. Precisely because of its versatility, the “smog-eating” paint has often been used to create works of art aimed at raising public awareness of environmental issues'.
And the mural is special. The artwork consists of two building-high murals. Made by Judith de Leeuw (26). Through the painting, she wanted to point out class inequality and hidden racism. Inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement.
