'Go to the museums', Rembrandt tells us, with his spray can. And that's exactly what we did, last thursday.
We went to the Museum. I'm so happy it's possible again!!
We went to the Museum for Graffiti and Street Art. In Amsterdam. It's called STRAAT.
The museum resides in an 8000 m former warehouse on the NDSM wharf. Both a national monument and the biggest outdoor playground for streetart and graffiti in Amsterdam.
Starting next week, I'll show you some great works of art
But this work, outside, is also very nice, don't you think? The artist is Donovan Spaanstra. I've seen more of his work and I love it.
Spaanstra says on Instagram: It's an interpretation (not a copy) of a portrait by Diego Velasquez (1599-1660).
And there was another work of art outside. Also very nice in my opinion:
Artist: Sket 185
