About the times when all of the Gaul area was under Roman control, except for one small village in Brittany?
I used to read those books all the time and loved it.
But the books are no longer in our house. I probably gave them to one of my sons.
A few days ago, we took a walk in the neighbourhood, other side of the road.
There are parking spaces under the houses there. It's rather dark.
And there I found these murals. Someone brightened up those gray walls.

I've never heard of these characters, but they look vaguely familiar. I really enjoyed the murals you found and enjoyed reading about the Gauls, too. Sometimes we find art in the strangest places. Thanks for sharing, Bertie.

Daar zijn heel veel murals op te vinden. Ik ben van plan om die in Leuven allemaal te gaan bekijken.
Astrix en Obelix ken ik wel, heb ook een aantal van die strips hier in huis
Vlakbij Parijs is een Astrix en Obelix thema par, daar zijn we jaren geleden met de kinderen geweest en we waren van plan om er dit voorjaar vanuit Parijs een dagje naar toe te gaan, maar helaas kwam daar 'even' wat tussen.
Die is mooi. Wat een mens dankzij Corona al niet allemaal ontdekt in zijn eigen buurt. Toch ook wat voordelen die Corona.!
