There's a fish stall in Amsterdam, called Stubbe Herring.
In summer I like to look at tourists eating a herring, the Dutch way.
But this was winter and early in the morning. No tourists.
And then on the right I saw this painting
It is not a copy, or a photo as you can see. It is a real painting!
I wonder what Rembrandt would have thought of it.

Het past wel mooi in het Rembrandtjaar.
The mural at Stubbe Herring reminds me of graffiti. The painting, however, looks very much like Rembrandt. That was a great find. Happy (and colorful) New Year to you, too.
