Our daughter and I spent a happy day in Haarlem. We also went to lunch somewhere and before we went in, I saw this mural. A parking garage!
'Portrait of a girl in blue and pink' is the title.
But in the neighbourhood the girl is called Mona Gaga.

The painting is now in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. But the artists thought it was about time to bring her back to Haarlem.

ik kijk er vol bewondering naar

ja... daarboven heb je de Dakkas.
Daar kun je fantastisch van het uitzicht over de stad genieten onder het genot van... een capuccino, of een biertje.

Wat een prachtig schilderij. Fijn dat iedereen het kan zien, het is zeker de moeite waard.

Ik dacht al bij de eerste foto's, ik ken dat beeld ergens van. Niet dat ik nou zo'n kunstkenner ben maar dat beroemde schilderij is natuurlijk erg bekend. Ik vind dit geweldig, mag dat wel, dat uitbundige.
Wat een prachtige mural! Wat knap dat iemand dat kan maken met van die spuitbussen!
