I live about 40 km from Amsterdam, but as we don't have a car, it's difficult to get there. I certainly don't dare to travel by train. And traveliing by bus is completely excluded.
And so we cycle and we cycle in a very rural area where there are not many murals. But we are healthy and the weather is fine, no complaints. And then last week we found this one.

Bij de zwanenfamilie moeten ze nog wel even dat armoedige brievenbusje onder handen nemen. Maar ze zijn weer leuk hoor!

Ik vind ze allebei heel mooi.
Leuk dat ze ook op het platteland te zien zijn.
Ze hebben beide wel wat, het brengt in ieder geval wat kleur in het landschap.
Verrassend, we hoeven helemaal niet meer naar Amsterdam he, de kunst is om de hoek. Ben ook nog steeds niet geweest, als ik de foto's van de mensenmenigte afgelopen week in Amsterdam zie, vergaat me de zin al helemaal!

Both are quite pretty Bertie. Perth is the "home" of the black swans, which have appeared in a couple of murals.

Sorry I'm late visiting. I've been fighting keeping my internet going. It went down Monday and my provider sent someone out Tuesday to work on the problem. Now I'm finally back online.
For someone who is cycling around the country, this is wonderful that you found both these murals. The swans shaped as hearts really touched me, Bertie. Love them both.
